The "Client" ABRSM



The ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) is an international educational organisation that provide examinations in music. Exams vary for every grade, syllabus and instrument. This examination board is accredited by the Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) to award graded and diploma qualifications in music on the UK National Qualifications Framework. Exams are divided into five sections; Practical exams, Theory exams, Practical musicianship, Jazz exams.

ABRSM is also a production house that specifies in printing music related books. Most of these books consist of syllabus, sheet music and exam papers for interested students and teachers. The organisation also runs profesionally courses and seminars for teachers for the royal schools which are :
  • Royal Northern College of Music
  • Royal Academy of Music
  • Royal College of Music
  • Royal Scothish Academy of Music and Drama
